Kickstarter has been so kind to us lately. Between Two Cities a few weeks ago, Above and Below this week(have yet to play it) and then we finally had our first playthrough of Floating Market. I'm sure we'll bring this up on the podcast, but I loved it. Z-man kicked our asses...hard...but it was so much fun. It's such a unique dice game and the mechanics are simple and super fun. Then we followed that up with Steam Works. This is a game that absolutely needs a second playthrough. We started the game and then before we knew it, the table was covered in the various machines that we had all built. Each machine being a valid space that ANYONE could go to, as long as you didn't mind sharing some rewards. Thinking this one will have some great legs. Finished the night with a late night session of Epic from the makers of Star Realms. This is a game in which EVERY card is broken, it really comes down to how can you maximize single turn hits, because your champions will not last on the board long. Enjoy. I hear Rico is back in the states so you should have a new podcast shortly that we recorded before his holiday as well as a return to form with some new content.
