It's basically the offer of an upgrade at the same price as the original product. It will hopefully help to stablish a new baseline for Wii development and help push the functionality of the Motion Plus into new software. That being said, it is also nice that customers that already have their controls can purchase an addon that would save them from having to buy brand new controllers to get the new functionality. Hopefully said addon has a reasonable price. I find it great.
