>At CES 2010, Nyko unveiled their newest Wii Remote model, called the Wand+. The Wand+ will be built in with Wii MotionPlus, and it will be released in March for $39.99 USD
> Microsoft has dropped a processing chip in favour of a software fix. This will not hinder Natal’s 100ms lagtime.
>Palm Pre owners are Norw able to purchase 3D games from their application service.

As much as an eyesore the Nyko Wand+ is, it costs as much as a Wii Remote standard.

I find it great.
It’s basically the offer of an upgrade at the same price as the original product. It will hopefully help to stablish a new baseline for Wii development and help push the functionality of the Motion Plus into new software.

That being said, it is also nice that customers that already have their controls can purchase an addon that would save them from having to buy brand new controllers to get the new functionality. Hopefully said addon has a reasonable price.
